Hello! And greetings to you in Jesus’ name!
My name is Jeremy Loesch, and I have recently been called to Holy Trinity Lutheran Church in Grandview to be their new pastor. I am really looking forward to my service here and putting down roots in this area. I hope to make your acquaintance.
I have been blessed with a wife and together, we have been blessed with five children, ranging in age from 9 to three months. For the last decade I have been serving a congregation in northern Delaware and have lived across the border in Maryland. This will be a little different, to put it mildly.
But excitement abounds. Doors have been opened for me in great ways. I look at this as an opportunity from the Lord to learn about the people in Grandview and the surrounding areas, and most importantly, to serve them as their pastor in Christ. If you do not have a church home and have questions about the Christian faith, this might be a good time to ask those questions. I’d be happy to talk and learn together with you.
There are always new things taking place in God’s church. Pastors step away from the ministry for a number of reasons and new pastors are sent. People move away for an equally varied number of reasons and new people move into the area and become a part of God’s church. The common denominator that has remained constant through time is that the church belongs to the Lord and that there is a place in the church for everyone. The ministry of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church will be to preach Jesus Christ and Him crucified for the salvation of humanity. The people of the congregation are aware, and celebrate the truth, that there are no perfect people; just a perfect Jesus. May the Lord bless you mightily!
Ever in Christ,
Rev. Jeremy D. Loesch
